Reshuffle Note: The ‘Regular’ and ‘Chan-Size’ banners are getting gradually replaced by the ‘Banners’, which are the new standard. Once a standard banner is created for one, the ‘Regular’ and ‘Chan-Size’ versions will be removed. However, this page is probably going to be rewritten as well, so the descriptions and images used will probably change as well. The standard banners are probably mostly temporary, while I figure them out.
This is a list of images made for this wiki, and how I made them1). Note that it doesn’t include images I source from other sites.
They’re listed in no particular order.
These are .png which are 800×160 pixels. The other types of banners that follow these (Regular and ‘Chan-size’) have both been replaced by this ‘standard’. The small banners are the same aspect ratio.
The background image is from here and it’s served as the front-page image on Channel4 semi-frequently (usually around Autumn).
I used Mona for the text. The Kaomoji in the corner is one of the old default names for DQN, I picked it basically at random.
The text has an outline because I found it was difficult to read without it (and I didn’t want to change the colors). I think it looks quite nice though.
Logo from theTVDB. The logo’s color was adjusted to match his jacket.
Background is the first volumes cover.
Like with the とある logo, I found an .svg on Wikipedia. I changed the colors and added a glow.
Then I took the background image from the 20th anniversary site’s timeline and messed with the color a bit.
The background is taken from their Doronai Nui art page and the logo is from their front page.
The text reads ‘Red Star Games’ in Matoran.
This was pretty simple, I found an .svg on wikipedia for the index logo. Deleted everything besides the とある, changed some colours around and boom.
The cityscape is a screencap from index III’s first OP. I’ll probably change it around because the る is hard to see.
Usually .png. 1000×185.
I took the Hydrus logo and put it on the left. Then I took the Mr. Bones image from Hydrus and put it in the background. The other picture is a screencap of a flash file I found on /f/ one day, I have no idea what the source is beyond that. It was labelled “lolicatgirls”.
The text is lowercase because almost everything in Hydrus is lowercase for some reason. The font is Arial.
Wiki Commons provided the logo again.
The picture is a screencap from the first episode, with modified colours.
I didn’t like the way the first one looked, so I changed it. I removed the colour filter, “zoomed” in on the background and added a gradient to the logo. I think it looks much better.
Logo was downloaded from theTVDB.
Picture is an official poster.
I didn’t like the first one for reasons.
I changed the background image and moved the logo to the side. I think it’s an improvement.
You wouldn’t believe how many .svg logos are on Wiki Commons.
The picture is a pic of Hope’s Peak. Not sure which game as I downloaded it from the wiki.
Logo from Wiki Commons again.
Background is official promotional artwork.
Logo from Wiki Commons again. Like seriously, they have almost everything.
Background was taken from the main website.
Colours were edited a bit.
Logo from the official website. Changed the colour from black to white.
Background is a screenshot from the DLC, sourced from here.
Nothing here I copied from somewhere else!… except the font.
The cards are the back for my prototype deck. Still a work in progress.
The font is A-OTF Futo Min A1010 Pr5.
Logo from Commons, naturally.
Text has two fonts, the first is Segoe UI (default font on Windows) and the second is PixelMPlus12.
Taken from screencaps of the Manga. The logo was taken from a scan.
Usually .jpg. 400×130.
This was made temporarily. I’ll replace it once I make a decent enough drawing of my own.
The source of the image is this.
This was made temporarily. I’ll either stop using it or replace it when I make a decent drawing.
The source of the image is this.
These are 200×40 and usually .png. Yes, they are very small.
Older version
I took the logo from WikiCommons originally, but then moved it to the standard logo and resized it for this one.
Background is a screenshot from the game of the map.
Older version
The background is from here. The logo is from Fanart.tv.
Older version
The logo is from the official fan-kit. The background image is from here.
The logo and !? is derived from the regular banner. The face is from another screencap.
Unfortunately, I’m not satisfied with this one, so I may redo it in the future.
Derived from regular banner.
I wonder how many are gonna think it’s a Japanese/Chinese card game now?
These banners are for the independent worldbuilding, character, etc. articles.
The background is from Volume 7 of the AKIRA colored English released. The triangle’s background is from the same Volume.
The font of the ‘Neo-Tokyo’ text is ACES07 Amarillo OADF from the ACES Typografics collection. The font for the アキラ is A-OTF Outai Kaisho Std.
Sources for images that I didn’t create are on Image Sources.
