Operation

The Toaster was equipped with a cassette player.

Description

The Toaster was designed to appeal to a group that loved listening to music and make toast. Along with the music playing capabilities, it was capable of etching very simple messages on to the toast1).
Following its release, it got popular almost instantly, especially with suburban families. However, a bug was discovered very quickly. The cassette tapes placed into the toaster would catch fire, and following that the toaster would explode2).
After several attempted lawsuits, the toaster was taken off of shelves and quickly forgotten.

Storage

The toasters are stored in an abandoned warehouse somewhere in Ohio3).
